Purpose Of Policy

a. The privacy and protection of the information User provides to the Website is important, and the purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain:

  • What information we collect and why we collect it.
  • How we use that information.
  • How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

b.User Acceptance. User hereby understands, acknowledges and agrees that the Company shall collect, use, disclose or otherwise handle information obtained in connection with consumers' access to or use of the Website in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

c. This policy only applies to Company.  This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Company does not own or control, or to people that Company does not employ or manage.

The Company shall have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, to the maximum extent permissible by law, all User access to and use of the Website, as well as any information obtained about User in connection with User's access to and use of the Website. The Company shall also have the right, but shall not be obligated, to collect and store, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • (i) any personally identifying information User voluntarily provides to Company via Website, email, or any other direct contact from User in connection with User's access to use of the Website, including without limitation User's name, street address, email address, phone number, and any other personally identifying information.  Company may combine the personally identifying information provided by User with information obtained from business partners or other companies; and
  • (ii) any information obtained as a result of User's access to or use of the Website, including without limitation the name of the domain and host from which User accesses the Internet, the Internet protocol address of the computer User is using; User's browser software and operating system information; the date and time User accesses the Website; and the Internet address of the web site from which User linked to the Website. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, when a visitor files a complaint online and indicates an age under thirteen, no personally identifying information is collected in conjunction with such submission.

e. Information Use and Disclosure.

  • Company uses the personally identifying information collected to provide, maintain, protect and improve Services to User, to develop new services and products, and to protect Company and our users. Company also uses the personally identifying information to offer tailored content – such as providing User with more relevant search results of lost and found items.
  • The Company shall have the right, but not the obligation, to use or disclose, to the maximum extent permitted by law, any information collected and/or stored by the Company in relation to User's access to and use of the Website for purposes such as personalization and verification, as well as any other purpose permitted by law. The Company may use "cookies" to store and help track information, and User is aware that when User discloses information online, such information can be collected and used by others. User therefore accesses and uses the Website, including submission of User information, at User's sole risk..
  • When User contacts Company via Website, email, or direct contacts, Company may keep a record of the communication to help solve any issues User may be facing.  Company may use User’s email address to inform User about Company’s services, such as letting you know about upcoming changes or improvements.
  • Company does not rent, sell, or share personally identifying information about User with other non-affiliated individuals or companies, any third parties outside of Company except to fulfill User’s request or provide products or services that User requested,  when Company has User’s permission, or under the following circumstances:
    • Company provides the personally identifying information to trusted partners who partner with Company to help improve services to User.
    • Company respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process (such as law enforcement requests), or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
    • Company believes it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Company’s Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law.
    • Company  transfers personally identifying information about User if company is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Company will notify User before the personally identifying information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

f. Information Security. No data transmission over the Internet is one hundred percent secure, and User understands, acknowledges and expressly agrees that the Company cannot warrant or ensure the security of any information obtained in relation to or as a result of User's access to or use of the Website. User's access to and use of the Website shall be at User's sole risk.

g.  In order to provide the best service to User, Website or communications from Website may contain links to other sites, such as the United States Postal Service.  Please be aware that Company is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites.  Company’s Privacy Policy dose not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or sites that may be displayed to User in communications from Company or on the Website.  Company encourages User to be aware when they go to such other sites that collects personally identifying information  and read their privacy policy.

h. Company may partner with a trusted party or company to provide specific services.  When User signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary to the trusted party to provide these services.  For example, Company partners with the United States Postal Service in order to provide the most cost efficient and service to User.

i.  Whenever User uses Website, Company aims to provide User with access to User’s personally identifying information. If that information is wrong, Company strives to give User ways to update it quickly or to delete it – unless it is necessary to keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes. When updating your personally identifying information, Company may ask User to verify identity before acting on the request. Company may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup systems).

j.  From time-to-time Website may request information via surveys.  Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use, satisfaction, and services of Website.

To help you stay current of any changes, it is advisable for you to frequently review the Privacy Policy.  You assume total responsibility and risk for your use of, or reliance on, the Website and any information provided on the Website.  Information contained on the Website is subject to change at any time without notice.  If changes to the Privacy Policy are significant, Company will provide a more prominent notice on Website.
